Staring Problem are a Hardcore Punk band from Jersey Shore, New Jersey. Don't let that scare you away though they are rad. These are just some old hardcore kids, who aren't kids anymore, playing hardcore punk. One of the guitarists was in Tear it Up, so you know they are legit. This is some pretty cool modern hxc punk taking definite cues from thrash punk and a lot of that late 90's early 00's metalized punk sound and mixing it with some of that neo-power violence worship shit. Circle pit!

The Law - Distorted Anthems from the Suburbs

This is a request. Sounds like some pretty solid thrash to me. The riffs sort of reminds me of me of Sepultura with some solid classic metal parts, and the vocals kind of remind me of Dio if he was doing thrash. haha The lyrics are hilarious too.

Magrudergrind/Godstomper split

Magrudergrind is D.C. fastcore. And they fucking pulverize. They utilize elements of grind/thrash/powerviolence and everything under the fast spectrum. These guys are just unstopable. I'd say this stuff is better than their "Don't Support Humanitarian Aid Led By the Church" Lp. Seems their split material always is. Anyways, sick brutal fast grind for the punx. GET IT

Godstomper hmmm. I'm not sure what to think of these guys... They are grimy, distorted, ugly, fastcore with some groovy parts. Pretty damn good. Pretty fucking brutal. Bass heavy as fuck, pretty power violence. Very Gruff vocals. Only problem; waaay to short. They only provide 2 songs while Magrudergrind have 4.

INTEGRITY

Hardcore legends. One of the earliest bands to successfully mix Metal and Hardcore. Formed in Cleavland, Ohio 1988 (89?). Sounds kind of like 80's thrash metal mixed with hardcore. For fans of GISM, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Septic Death, Samhain, Motörhead, and Joy Division. Lyrical themes include religion, the supernatural, mental illness, individualism, politics, and the occult. This is a discography they put out in 2001.

Skeletonwitch - Beyond the Permafrost

Skeletonwitch is this rad Blackened Thrash from Athens, Ohio. They seem to be touring constantly. I bought their album "Beyond the Permafrost" around Christmas and was very pleased. It's some of the more entertaining New Wave of Thrash stuff that I've heard. It has a very defined sound, not too cliche and very tight production. Anyways, I saw them live around March with The Red Chord. And needless to say SEE THEM LIVE IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE! These guys put on a wicked live show. Very Metal. Here's their 2007 release "Beyond the Permafrost".

MISANTHROPIC

Misanthropic is a band for fans of Dystopia and Nausea. Cool socio-political groovin sludge/crust with some thrash parts. I think some of the people that were in this group went on to form Sea of Deprivation. Except Misanthropic has a female vocalist in some parts.
